Directed by Leni Riefenstahl. Victory of Faith documents the 1933 NSDAP rally at Nuremberg. It has been lost for over 50 years! The leaflet (that is included in the dvd) states "In April 1934 Leni Riefenstahl was invited to speak...in Great Britain to discuss her innovative film techniques. It is now known that at least one copy of Victory of Faith was duplicated...at that time. In June of 1934...Hitler ordered...the SS to assassinate SA leader Ernst Rohm. Hitler then ordered that any existing photos and references to Rohm be obliterated...and therefore all [German] copies of Victory of Faith were destroyed." This is the A & M Productions "long lost British print". Special edition DVD also includes the never before seen original trailer: "Der Deutsche Reichstag zu Nurnberg"; "Word and Deed" directed by Fritz Hippler; and an UNCUT version of Day of Freedom. Includes English subtitles. NTSC only. This is "new old stock" that I recently purchased so supplies are limited!
