Songs of the Obersalzburg Songs of the Obersalzburg contains Bavarian music from 1913 - 1941 that was popular at Hitler's Mountain retreat and the Berchtesgaden Region.
Men who fought in the Waffen-SS do not receive any veterans' benefits. HIAG (Hilfsgemeinschaft auf Gegenseitigkeit der Angehörigen der ehemaligen Waffen-SS) was an organization of Waffen-SS veterans that helped other Waffen-SS vets who were wounded or handicapped and were having trouble making ends meet in their golden years. HIAG disbanded in 1996. We are trying to fill the gap HIAG left behind by helping a group of former HIAG Veterans in Munich. As one HIAG member said, "We are still gute Kameraden and one stays for the other; that's what TREUE means."
This is a wonderful opportunity to help the Munich Veterans of the Waffen SS! Proceeds from the sale of this unique cd will go directly to the Veterans in Munich.
